The refrigerated compressed air dryer is one of the most commonly used types of air dryer in the world. We have decades of experience and expertise in optimizing design for design novelty, energy efficiency and operational stability; SUNWIN offers wide range of refrigerated air dryers to suit any needs. Our five different series provide comprehensive coverage and are celebrated by customers the world over – an ideal choice in terms of effectiveness and stability!

PSW and CSW Series

For a reliable and efficient solution to your compressed air drying needs, PSW and CSW ranges of refrigerated compressed air dryers are designed to meet all your requirements. Automatic welding technology and 16 years of artisan quality guarantee high durability in the PSW range due to its stainless steel heat exchange system, which prevents any secondary contamination. For those looking for a more cost effective alternative, the CSW range offers a carbon steel housing that minimizes expenses. Both options feature double cartridge construction for improved efficiency, providing consistent and excellent performance regardless of your choice.

PSW Series
  • Shell stainless steel, strong corrosion resistance, No secondary pollution to clean air.
  • Capacity: 1.2~8.5 Nm3/min
CSW Series
  • Shell carbon steel, stable copper tube heat exchanger evaporator and condenser with anti-corrosion treatment.
  • Capacity: 10.7~400 Nm3/min
  • Thickened evaporator pipelines make dryers more stable
  • Perfect refrigerated system configuration. Initial parts come from foreign famous brands to ensure efficient & system reliable running & life as well
  • Ripple pipeline of both internal and external of the heat exchanger to increase the using rate of cooling air, adverse current structure, perfect returning temperature and it won’t freeze.
  • Outer cooling fan with large volume, low noise, and long life if switch frequently.
  • Armstrong foam burning resistant & adiabatic material. It’s the least loss of cooling air.

User: How do refrigerated air dryers dry compressed air?

Expert: Refrigerated air dryers dry compressed air by cooling it to the dew point temperature. The dew point temperature is the temperature at which the moisture in the air begins to condense. By cooling the compressed air, the moisture present in it condenses into liquid form, which can then be separated and removed from the air stream. This process helps to reduce the moisture content in the compressed air, ensuring its dryness and preventing potential issues in downstream equipment or processes.

User: Why is it important to dry compressed air?

Expert: Drying compressed air is crucial for various applications where dry and moisture-free air is required. Here are a few reasons why it is important:

  1. Equipment protection: Moisture in compressed air can cause corrosion and damage to pneumatic tools, machinery, and other equipment. By removing moisture, air dryers help protect these investments and extend their lifespan.
  2. Product quality: In industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and painting, moisture in compressed air can negatively affect product quality. Dry air ensures that moisture-sensitive processes and products remain unaffected, leading to better quality outcomes.
  3. Process efficiency: Moisture in compressed air can cause issues such as reduced efficiency, increased downtime, and damage to sensitive instruments and controls. By drying the air, these problems can be minimized, leading to improved productivity and reduced maintenance costs.
  4. Air system performance: Moisture can accumulate in the air distribution system, causing pressure drop and affecting the overall performance of the compressed air system. Dry air helps maintain optimal system efficiency and minimizes the risk of blockages or disruptions.
